Usage guide

What gets removed?

A new file is created from the image pixels. Source EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, embedded thumbnails and comment blocks are not copied. The output is checked again.

Is quality unchanged?

Pixel dimensions are preserved. PNG encoding is lossless; JPG and WebP are recompressed. The source color profile is not copied, so color appearance may change.

Does this make a photo anonymous?

Visible faces, addresses, license plates and text remain. This tool handles supported embedded information only; PDF, Office and HEIC files are not supported.
