Usage guide

Which format should I choose?

Choose JPG for photos, or PNG for transparency and sharp graphics. WebP often produces smaller files. If you are submitting to a website, use a format it accepts.

How does the file size limit work?

The limit is optional. Enter 500 to try to create a file no larger than 500 KB; the result may be smaller. Leave it blank for no limit. You can see the actual size before downloading.

How do I set the image dimensions?

Original dimensions are preserved by default. Under “Image dimensions”, enter only a width or height to keep the proportions. Enter both to fit the full image with padding or fill the area with a centered crop.

What if the file cannot meet the limit?

Try smaller pixel dimensions or JPG/WebP. JPG and WebP quality can be reduced; PNG does not use the same method. Download remains unavailable if the limit cannot be met. Check text and details in the preview after compression.
